The New Florida, locally known as Madhouse or Madi, is located in the heart of Nairobi on Koinange Street. The club is one of a kind, being the only circular club on three levels in Nairobi. Internationally recognised artists who have been to the Florida include reghgae artists King Yellowman, Glenn Washington, Joseph Hills and Culture. South African jazz maestro Hugh Masekela has also stopped by as have Congolese musicians Wenga Musica. Apache Indian, Kelly Brown and Shaggy have also been here, as have many others to sample the unique atmosphere of the club.
