The Florida 2000 Jam Session

JAM SESSION started back in the eighties and was and still is is the HOTTEST uptown joint for teenagers and is often imitated but never duplicated

Jam has developed & nurtured some of the Kenya's top artists. Kalamashaka, Gidi gidi & Maji maji, Abbas, Redsan, Hardstone, Nazizi & Kanda King to name a few, all started out at Jam Session.

JAM SESSION has also been the centre of all inventions and innovations in terms of dressing trends, dance styles, Kenyan slang(sheng). If you want to know what's soon going to be hot on Nairobi streets, Jam is where you get the scoop.

Jam Session is the rendezvous of choice for all teens from all corners of Nairobi; and has become the S.I unit for any music in the industry as the crowd appreciates, listens, rates all new music. Local producers test their new songs here - if it's hot Jammers will let you know!

Jam session supports the campaign against drug abuse and is a totally drug free event . Smoking & drinking are outta bounds during Jam and no sale of either is allowed.

Deejay Jazzy Jeff is the current anchor of the event & has a big influence both as a role model & advisor to the future artists & leaders of the entertainment industry.

Jam goes down every Sunday afternoon & on all public holidays as an entertainment joint for teens and teens at heart aged from between 16-25 from 2pm - 8pm at F2.
